Music & Arts School in Itu, Brazil

On Friday, the 30st of June 2023, the city of Itu welcomed the Tomorrowland team for a technical visit to the locations that will accommodate over 4,000 children and teenagers at the new Tomorrowland Foundation Music & Arts School in Brazil.

Present at the visit were the city's mayor, Guilherme Gazzola, and representatives from Tomorrowland Belgium and Brazil. The visit aimed to initiate the studies and necessary implementations for the spaces that will receive the future installations of the Tomorrowland Foundation in the city, such as the CEL (Center for Experimentation in Languages) and the EMIA (Municipal School of Artistic Initiation Manolo Santoro). Both areas will have their projects guided through the non-profit institution Tecendo Infâncias, a local partner that has been working on philanthropic projects in the city since 2022.

The presence of the Tomorrowland Foundation team in Itu highlights the positive impacts generated for society in the short and long term, especially for children and teenagers, who will be able to enhance and develop sociocultural knowledge and artistic skills through music.

The Tomorrowland Foundation currently has two music and arts education initiatives in other countries: the first one was inaugurated in 2018 in the city of Shikha, Nepal, and the most recent one in Kolkata, India, in 2022. The initiative in Itu will draw inspiration from the projects already implemented in these two countries, in partnership with the Tecendo Infâncias Institute, while opening space for various collaborative actions.

It is no coincidence that the new Music & Arts School is located in Itu, Brazil. Tomorrowland is, in fact, returning to Brazil in 2023 in the same city.

After two incredible editions in 2015 and 2016, the world's most iconic dance music festival has announced its return to South America for a new edition of Tomorrowland Brazil from October 12th to 14th, 2023. The beautiful festival grounds at Parque Maeda in Itu, São Paulo, will once again host the magical three-day global gathering featuring a collection of the world's best electronic artists.
